Who are we and why are we different?

Brakspear is a small, friendly, family company which has been in the business of running pubs for over 200 years.

We are passionate about great people running great pubs and are always selectively searching for partners to work with.  Being a family company means we don’t have to worry about external shareholders, so our business strategy is about long-term growth rather than short-term gains.  We look to invest in the right people in the right pubs for sustainable growth

We care about our licensees and treat them as individuals.  Whether you are an experienced landlord or about to run your first pub, we will support you in every way we can.  We understand pubs and we offer the support of some of the most experienced people in the trade to help you make a success of your business.

What agreements do we offer?

We offer three main agreements depending on what you are looking for but we can be flexible to suit your needs:

· 1 year tenancy

· 6 year tenancy

· 21 year lease

Support
BDM's – We have four Business Development Managers so John Beazley, John O'Flaherty, Peter Capon or Tom Llewellin will be your main contact with the Company.  Each of our BDM's only look after around 35 pubs each which is much lower than the industry average.  This allows them to spend more time with each of their pubs supporting you our Tenants and Lessees.

Marketing – Victoria Lochhead is our executive who will help you with marketing plans, promotional and brand support as well as free services such as leaflet and fax drops to help launch your business.

Property – Our property department is responsible for the maintenance of our pubs.  You will have a dedicated surveyor looking after your pub.

Customer Service – You will be given a Customer Service Representative who will call you every week to take your order at a time to suit you.

Public Relations – Ros Shiel is our PR consultant, making sure Brakspear is featured prominently and positively in the industry press

Cellar Service and BQT – We have Beer Quality Technicians who you can call on if you have any dispense or quality problems in your cellar or on your bar
