In the picturesque village of Charney Bassett, host Janette and family welcome you to the Chequers Inn. The Chequers Inn is a charming and peaceful characteristic countryside inn, with recently refurbished and decorated 3 en-suite letting rooms and pleasant dining areas, overlooking the village green in the delightful Oxfordshire village of Charney Bassett.
The Chequers has been licensed to serve fine ales, stout, wines and spirits since the early 1800's. Although in the countryside, the location is convenient for Oxford and Swindon, as well as the Vale of the White Horse market towns of Faringdon, Abingdon and Wantage.
The 3 en-suite rooms are bright, spacious and pleasantly furnished to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. All have their seperate entrances, so you can come and go as you please. All have free WiFi and a desk for working as well as tea and coffee facilities, king sized bed, hairdryer and flat screen digital TV.
