The Chequers is a small, intimate pub within one quarter mile of Brighton 'Old Pier' and even less to the seafront. It is also within 200 yards of the proposed site of the i360 (the proposed public viewing tower on the seafront). A local artists paintings are displayed and available for purchase. There is live music every Sunday, and a food menu.
