The Half Moon is a beautiful seventeenth century pub situated in the hamlet of Cuxham, not five minutes drive from the picturesque village of Watlington.  The interior is cosy and the ambience everything that a good English pub should be - but this pub has something a little bit different about it, and that's a distinctly French touch.  Phillipe and his partner Debbie took over the pub in April 2011.  Being French, Phillipe loves what he can't get in his homeland, and that's an atmospheric English pub with great English beer.  Being English, Debbie loves what she can't get from her homeland and that's traditional French food and a large selection of regional French wine.  So they decided to fuse the two together and create a taste of France in a very British environment.
