The Rising Sun is a beautiful 17th Century Pub nestled in a small Chiltern hamlet close to Henley on Thames. Approached from the villages of Stoke Row or Highmoor the pub is adjacent to the green and set near to woods in Witheridge Hill. With ample car parking the approach to the pub is via the garden. Upon entering the pub noticeable features are the low beamed ceilings and two open fires with wooden boarded floors, the walls decorated in rich colours and informative chalk boards listing guest ales, wines and forthcoming events. The Rising Sun is a cosy pub in the winter, with open fires & excellent Sunday Roasts; the speciality of local game dishes will warm the chilliest of travellers.
