In 1961, the owners of the pub purchased Shears Green House, which is now the current Battle of Britain pub that everyone knows. The old hut was demolished in May 1962. One of Brakspear's hidden gems, the Belgian Arms is situated at the rear of Holyport Green, overlooking the village pond. This quintessential English pub provides good pub food and more formal evening dining, and is surrounded by a large garden with its beautiful view overlooking the village pond making it perfect for 'al fresco' dining.

The menu at The Belgian Arms is designed to provide a high standard of good value food which appeals to the more discerning modern diner, whilst maintaining a strong attraction to the more traditional customer. Daily specific menus allow us to try innovative and modern 'specials' alongside our more traditional dishes.
